Fuzzy search finds results close to what was typed, even with typos or variations. It helps when a name, skill, or title is spelled slightly differently across resumes. Without it, a simple misspelling can hide a strong candidate from search results. Most modern sourcing and ATS search tools include fuzzy matching by default. It works alongside, not instead of, exact keyword search.
