Radius search finds candidates within a chosen distance of a job’s location. It’s commonly used for on-site, retail, or field roles where commute matters. A recruiter might search within 15 miles of a warehouse location. This narrows a large candidate pool down to a realistic, local one. It’s less useful for fully remote roles with no location requirement.
